Quilt Class

Today was the first "Quilt Class" of 2009. We had one new lady...
Theresa, she is hand piecing an Ohio Star block in navy blue and red. Here she is cutting out the pieces after drawing round her templates. She speaks english!!! which is just as well 'cause my portuguese was terrible today, worse than normal... oooer
Amalia has been playing at home, this is the start of bread bag number 3
Bread bag number 2 has one of it's borders....
and bread bag number 1 is almost done....
Today Amalia cut the background pieces for her kaleidoscoope blocks and got one sewn together, using my little trick for matching the centres.
Anita has decided to make a Bargello wall hanging. She came today to choose the fabrics so that she can get them washed, dried, ironed and cut into strips ready to start tomorrow in the Quilt Cave.
