Stitching News

Sporty (Late) Sue's quilt top is just about complete. It's stunning isn't it?
The patterns for the blocks are in the book Jelly Roll Sampler Quilts Sue used a Moda Batik Jelly Roll and a Moda Bella Solid for the  background fabric. She invented the pieced border all by her very own self, I'm sure she will use it again in the future.

Foxy Margaret made this quilt top last year... it sounds ages ago eh... She asked Our Helen to quilt it for her over the festive season. You will, for sure, agree that Helen has done a superb job of the quilting, and how brave was she to quilt with white thread on those dark blue borders?
Just look at Helen's quilting from the back... just brilliant, all done on Helen's little 'Nina Bernina! very strong proof that practice, practice, practice, pays off.
