Stitching News

Jeannette had finished the centre of her amazing quilt top and popped in to play with my fabrics whilst choosing her borders... we toyed with a few ideas and decided on three rounds, a blue one, about 1.25" finished, a tiny pop of a red one ... only a quarter inch finished (I have a clever fudging trick to make that work) followed by a wider fancy black-ish fabric... It will look sooooo good!!

Just the one lady for our Beginner Cushion workshop this time... this lady was a quick learner!! She left with a beaming smile feeling very proud as she took home this fabulous and finished, quilted cushion...
with a zip safely installed in the back...
you know what we need to do now... Toot toot toot
A bit of a shop/ shopping update...
You won't believe me, I know... but there has been an extremely large amount of fabric delivered over the last few days... All the trolley's are out again and adjustments have had to be made to the shelves... more fabric (and wadding)  is on it's was too.... I will tell you why... Most of the companies I purchase from gave me notice recently of impending price increases, you see, I hate my prices going up... so I did a quick bit of 'Panic Purchasing'... and now I am paying for it... and I don't mean in a money way!!! ha ha ha Have you ever seen a shop literally burst at it's seams??? Watch this space!!!

This is such a beautiful cushion. Proud mummy moment even though she's a mummy herself. Can't wait to book myself into a class.
