Portuguese Tiles

There's something to be said about an 'all over' quilting design... it's way faster to do than to quilt each block based on it's pieced design... When I started my Portuguese Tiles I had no idea I would still be quilting it this many hours down the line... still, only six blocks to go now, followed by a border design ... I guess this could be called 'the home straight'....
I'm still not getting on with this new posting system from Blogger, judging by my emails, lots of you agree with me... I hope they give it up and revert back... Though I must confess, 'twas I who took the blurred photos, he he he, I can't blame Blogger for that!

This quilt is so fresh. Just think how satisfying it will be to have quilted all those blocks individually when you have finished. Not sure what the difference is with your Blogger but your text doesn't disappear behind the photos like it used to.

Hi Angie
It is so lovely what you made out of the single blocks, and it reminds me of a time I will never forget.

Blue is my favourite colour and so automatically love blue quilts. Recently I have been using lots of pinks and lime green but nothing replaces the freshness of blue. About the blogger changes ... it is so annoying to get used to one method and then ... all change ... for why? Mine did change a couple of weeks ago for a day or two and then did revert back ... no explanation from anyone ... so hopefully will do so again.
