Barbie's Quilted Vase

Not quite a Toot Toot Toot moment but this is as close as we're going to see for this quilt. Barbie stitched the binding on by machine in class and left the hand stitching to be done as homework... this quilt will be gifted as soon as the label is in place. Barbie said, with a huge happy smile.. and I can quote this " I'm absolutely delighted with it" It's been over a year in the making as Barbie has made other quilts at the same time. Her favourite part was making the braided border.... It's a stunning quilt for sure.
There's a new baby in the family, never a better reason for starting to make a new quilt than for a new baby... So that's what Barbie did for the rest of her stitchy-fun day... more on that next time.
