Stitching News

Chatty Cathy came to play... Caverswall Quilt Cave is not happening this week so , rather than miss her stitchy fun, she switched days! Am I not convenient?? Cathy had finished her quilting so she trimmed the crusts, made her binding and stitched it in place ready to be hand stitched at home.

Early Sue spent her day joining these 2 1/2" squares. They were to be used for blocks of a new quilt but there's a very good chance they could be used as borders on a recent PhD instead... if we can get the mathemisms sorted out!

Lovely Lyn found these fabrics on a recent shopping trip, and what true bargains she found, £3.00 per yard!! indeed... with hindsight, Lyn wishes she had purchased the lot! She was recently inspired by Shirley Lerly's Bento Box project so... that's what Lovely Lyn will be making.

A very short post of few photos for such a busy classroom day, I won't apologize... we had fun fun fun and you missed out... hehehehe
