Monday Stitching

Penelope Baskerville had been busy stitching at home, she has her very own, brand new sewing machine, so there's going to be no stopping her! Blocks not only finished but sashed together too.  During class she added her inner border, carefully measured of course. The bright pink outer border will be added at home. You can just about see Cynthia's lovely Autumnal blocks at the top of the picture there, they're being sashed together too.

Jean Bean was quilting her Stack-n-Whack Kaleidoscope quilt. The whole quilt has been stabilized so Jean was able to quilt her borders, she trimmed the crusts off and will add the binding. After that she can go back in to finish off the free motion quilting in her kaleidoscope blocks.

Afternoon Judith trimmed up her Quick Table Topper and prepared her Faux Piped Binding. Its going to be black with red trimming and it will look very stunning! Judith brought in yummy fresh cream, chocolate eclairs to celebrate her biggest birthday yet!

Ann Baker likes to be working on several projects at the same time, she switches from one to the other all the time.... The purple and black fabric is for an Ohio Star quilt, the blocks with stars and pinwheels are for cushion covers for Christmas and that beautiful winter floral fabric (availabubble in my very own quilt shop!) is for making a huge, not so quick, table topper.

Longport Lynda had us all in stitches again (in stitches!! ha ha ha)... one of these days, someone will be stitching their sides... what a character she is... Lynda is making a baby size quilt which I am sure will be a play mat! ha ha ha These pretty blocks were trimmed up with pale green sashing, from the Shabby Chic fabrics also availabubble you know where!...
