Stitching News

Longport Lynda, though this was never a race... was the first to complete all of her Paper Pieced baubles from the workshop on Saturday... she made the last one during our meeting and is now able to stitch all the tree parts together.

Here's another finished Advent Christmas Tree wall hanging top, once you know how to make them they are very easy to put together, a few of the ladies are actually making several to give away as gifts or raffle prizes.

Morning Judith, who came for the afternoon class just to confuse us, also finished the last few of her Paper Pieced Baubles, she's ready to trim them up (not sure why we 'trim up' when we actually 'trim down'? !) to finish the tree and get ready for borders.
I think this one belongs to PM Pam, you do have to take care when piecing the pocket units together... that's if you don't want any of the little goodies to fall out, he he I bet you can see the tell tale thread bits on a few of those pockets... un-stitching is a very popular activity in my very own classroom!
