Stitchy News

Brenda Barbara bought a new book and wasted no time at all in making a Halloween project or two, sticky stuff and blanket stitch applique is so very easy, even the way Brenda does it! ha ha ha... she has her own very special ingredients you know.. top secret!

Ann Baker has all 6 of her cushion tops ready and made great progress with the quilting ... Ann's very brave .... she's putting zips in her cushion backs!

Lovely Lyn started a new project. The economy patch block looks really lovely when joined without sashing.. can you remember Lizzy's version?

Meryl joined us for her first class and chose seasonal fabrics for her Railfence table runner, looking good so far isn't it?

Princess Jackie started this seasonal table runner, which looked as easy as they get... there are a few 'be careful' bits... which caused a few minutes of un-stitching... but it is most definitely a wonderful addition to any table.

Sheila continues adapting her unwanted Santa applique blocks into advent calendar wall hangings... we were all surprised actually.. they look even better than predicted.

Barbie is almost at the Toot Toot toot point... just a few hours of hand stitching to be done on the binding and we can start... tootetty tooting! This is a free pattern on the Moda Bake Shop site.
