I got out all my stuff, ripped a lot of half yards of white cotton and set to. Here are my lovely colours ready to play.
Once you have all the dyes, pots and fabric prepared it doesn't take too long to get creative. An hour or so later, I am waiting for the fabrics to gobble up the colours so I can rinse them. Here are a few of the pots after I added the mordant.... I use Procion dyes.
Looks like I will spend the rest of my day rinsing, washing, drying and ironing.
