Dying Fabrics

After figuring out where to find 1/2, 1/3 & 1/4 cup measurements the mixing began. Irene (right) and Anita (centre) working as a team.
Garen has done this before so she steamed ahead with her mixing.... and avoided the camera for the rest of the day... very cunning!
"Bottoms Up", after all 24 pots were filled it was time to play with left over dyes....
Ana forgot to put her glove back on before plunging it into a pot of pink... he he he , it will take many days to fade and doesn't even match her nail colour.....
Pegging out the rainbow, oooooh's and ahhhhh's
Anita,...... "look at this one" , and "oh look at this one".....

left to right, Ana, Anita & Irene admiring their hard work...

and the rainbow is almost dry......
Anita folding her rainbow at the end of the day. Irene looking on and can't wait to do her workshop on the 27th
Ana's fabrics weren't quite dry so she decided to put them individually into plastic bags so they didn't contaminate each other. They still need a little more rinsing and the final wash with Synthropol, before they are stable.
