Quilt Class

Antonia made this little quilt for her dog, it's just to practice machine applique and free motion quilting on, it's very cute.
Susana joined us for the first time. She had to use one of the class Bernette machines as the one you see here is a Professional Singer machine... YES!!! just like Sofia's Rubbish Singer... it is the same age and has the very same problems. It will go to the Singer shop on Monday too... let's see whether they tell her that the machine is for 'domestic sewing' and not made for 'doing patchwork'... even though the manual says it is perfect for such stitching!
Some of Susana's Railfence blocks, this project will be a table runner.
Elsa finished the top of her quilt and pieced a great backing using 3 left over blocks... in our next class she will make make the sandwich. She is already planning her next project.
