Susan started this beautiful kaleidoscope quilt a very long time ago. It's a huge quilt, which is why it isn't finished yet... But now.....
.... the back was ready and the batting was washed so there was no excuse. We pushed almost all of the tables together and made a group sandwich... he he he ... now Susan only needs to quilt it... clock is ticking Sue, no pressure!
Therese spent another day working on her daffodils. She is more than half way now...
Irene's finished the "fiddly doll ladies", not the real name for this project I assure you...
Leticia's (I'm not sure of the spelling?) actually learned patchwork over 10 years ago but has convinced herself that she had forgotten everything.... so she started on a beginner project, the trusty Railfence. It was good to see her memory does work and she did remember stuff.
Regina came to play, I allowed her to use my treadle machine... well she knows better than anyone how to be nice to it as she learned to sew on it as a little girl (it was her mothers after all) This was how we saw Regina for most of the day... he he he, "it's difficult to thread a needle when you can't see the hole" she says.
