| Rose arrived supporting a 'Finishing Cake'... that's no mean feat when you're a quilter eh... towing machine in trolley, Mat & Ruler Bag, big bag of sewing supplies lunch etc and fabrics AND a scrumptious 'Finishing Cake'! I didn't take a photo of the delicious cake but here's the quilt earned us such a treat... What a stunner! Imagine the weight gain if everyone brought in a cake when they finished each project? |

| You might remember that Rose started this Bargello project only last Tuesday... she says that she got totally engrossed with it at home... she stitched another strip set during the day and added a lot more rows... absolutely WOWeeee |

| Marilla attended the Stack-n-Whack workshop the last Saturday. She's piecing her blocks by hand... not that it makes any difference to the finished blocks.... she popped into My Very Own Quilt Shop to buy a little bit more white fabric and brought in her first two finished blocks, aren't they just fab! |

Congratulations to Rose for that quilt - beautiful. Finishing cakes sound like a good idea except for the waistline!
