Catching Up

Cynthia started a new project. She's been watching Jean Bean's progress with her Drinking Quilt and decided she wanted to make one... Large Log Cabin blocks come together very quickly. Cynth's logs are all 2 1/2" width cut so the blocks are turning out to be 10" finished... 46 to go.
Krafty Karen is getting ahead... on the hottest day of the year so far... WITH Sunshine... she worked on her 10 Minute block project... with Christmas fabrics... a Charm pack actually. We came up with a cunning plan to avoid any hand stitching too.
Lovely Lyn wanted to start a new project too. Every time this happens, Lyn suffers... from indecision! She wants to make impressive blocks that are really quite complex or tricky to piece, but she doesn't want to use templates, no 'Y' seams and no difficult angles... well, this block has all of those things... so the quilt won't have these blocks in it... another sample bites the dust... another cushion Lyn?
Giggly Gillian wanted to make a cushion using this fun jungle fabric for her grand-daughter, a little monkey it seems... No piecing trickery for Gillian... just fun fabrics, once the cushion was complete Gillian returned to making her ring of roses table topper, very pretty indeed.
The fabric Gillian chose for the little monkey cushion, cutetty cute!
Early Sue was showing off her patchwork bag... lovely and very accurately pieced, every junction is perfectly in line... It's pre printed really, but it fooled me!
