Quilt Class

Only two ladies came to Quilt Class today. They had a full table each and really enjoyed the afternoon.
Sandra finished quilting her table runner and got the binding sewn on, she will hand stitch it at home.
I chose these fabrics for Sandra's next project, a Lasagne Quilt, she said purple and green so.... I love these fabrics, it took a lot of restraint not to buy them all for myself!
Amalia has finished her baby quilt tops and had lots of fabric left over which she used to make this great quilt backing (right).
This morning I made this fabric postcard so that I could show the ladies at Arco Iris A Metro an idea for using a few of their scraps. They loved it.....
Amalia got cracking on her postcard as soon as she came... with her trusty box of scraps!!
This is Paula adding a little bit of trimming to Sandra's postcard....
Amalia's almost finished, she is doing the zig-zag stitching around the edges.

Sandra's Christmas Postcard.... she says "it is fun to sew with a zig-zag stitch as you can't tell when it goes a little wonky!"
