Quilts At The Races

When I arrived, the room was full of only the bones of the quilt show, he he he, well, that's what it looked like, just the wooden supports... In only a couple of hours all the black fabric was in place and after a tea break, with biscuits, we started to add the quilts, over 100 of them, all shapes and sizes! There were about 12 or so ladies helping out.
This is the table where all the quilts were unpacked before delivery to the right stand for hanging, 'twas all super organised, see the lady there at the small table, that's Margaret, the organiser... what a job! she makes lovely cake too, he he he.
and the last quilts to be set up were the ones on the Staffordshire Patchwork and Quilters place, this is the only quilty picture I will show you today...
I have over 100 photos of the beautiful quilts at the show, a great treat because I helped all day! There isn't a single head bobbing out of any of my photos and I didn't have to wait for anyone to move out of my way!!! I was the only one there....

What a great day at the races. No money lost - but quite a bit spent! The beauty of the quilts was breathtaking; such talent and skill on show.
