Applique Workshop

Yesterday, Saturday, was Hearts and Flowers Appliqué Workshop day... We started by drawing hearts, learning about the various kinds of 'Sticky Stuff' then sticking a heart to a small piece of background fabric ready for practising the art of machine appliqué, how to turn 'inny' and 'outy' corners mastering gentle curves and more dramatic curves... hearts have all of these features which makes them great shapes for practice. After a little demo about layering the designs the ladies set about producing these little beauties...
