5 of us worked on the charity quilt tops this morning.Anneliese put the sashing on this whacky design. She says that she found it difficult to piece complicated bits and pieces together... but it looks wonderful.
Garen was on ironing duty, she was also dating the fabrics as she remembers some them from the 80's! she must have started quilting when she was 8 years old eh!
Anneliese and Jutta, chattering away.Jutta was sewing 8" squares together and into 9 patches ready for us to cut up again for a "Disappearing 9 Patch" design... more on that later........
Therese was working on the purple and yellow top that you se on the table here... she is taking a break to root in the fabric scraps bin....!! which is usually my job, but I have soooooo many scraps waiting for me right now.
