Stitching News

Cynthia was the only person to make her Paper Pieced Christmas Tree in a none traditional colour, purple... the silver-y background fabric sets it off perfectly...
Today saw the addition of a hanging sleeve so, all Cynthia needs now, is a nail in her wall...Toot toot toot... it's a fabulous quilt.
PM Pam's tree skirt, or should I say one of PM Pam's tree skirts, has been sandwiched. The quilting has been started too. Pam's going to make five in total and now that the first one is just about finished, the others all will be very easy... there'll be less pondering and wondering you see.
AnnBacan also made a sandwich... a tricky shape for a good photo but I think you get the idea... It's a table runner made with the very same poppy pattern that Joan The Shop used for her Poppy wall hanging but Ann used a much smaller version.
These very long table toppers are mighty tricky to photograph. This one, belonging to Monday Sheila, is over 6 foot long... she's with arms stretched high on my photo step to save the bottom from being chopped off! Sheila has another extra long quilt top made and it's ready for borders.
This is Monday Sheila's very own mat and ruler bag made with the free tutorial that can be found at the top of this blog and two metres of "opportunity fabric" still available in my very own shop... didn't she do well!
