Stitching News

Brenda Barbara quilted... free motion in the background of her main picture blocks to make the bright colours stand proud and with walking foot to stitch the frames with variegated purple. She started and finished the quilting all in the one day.
Sheila sat cosily snuggled under her commission quilt as there was hand stitching to be done... every one of the roses will be hand appliquéd but the leaves will be done by machine... how very daring to mix methods...
I bet the quilt police would cringe... good job we don't let them in!
Nicola is back with us... she stitched on the final pieces for the border then, as you can see, sandwiched and quilted. There's just a couple of rows to do on the outer border then the binding so I'm thinking it could be finished very soon.
Michelle My Belle finished the centre of her giant project. Using two layer cakes easily makes a huge quilt. Michelle has been commissioned to make this one and by the end of the day the borders were on...
Caverswall Quilt Cave amounts of tables are required for the sandwich!!
This is the only picture from our Quilt Cave meeting this week.
My Wife Beth took it for me... isn't that the cutest advent reindeer!
