Stitching News

Fran Cupcake started a new project... she decided that the Log Cabin block is brilliant for using only little bits of your favourite fabrics... that way you can still keep the big bits to stash, stroke and love... what a strange idea... NOT!
Fanfare for a finish... Toot Toot Toot for Fran's beautiful cushion with appliqué petals, hand embroidery, couching done by machine and by hand
and a perfectly pieced zipped backing!!! What a lovely piece of art it is too...
Giggly Gillian added the last of her borders. We carefully calculated and cut her fabric to get the birds all the right way up... thrilled to bits with the quilt, Gillian will need to be sandwiching next time.
Lovely Lyn is making a bug quilt... love the bugs!! only the quilted kind mind you...
Lyn is very pleased with her blocks. The patterns are from the book Flower Festival which, as I write this, is available in my very own shop!
Jean Bean is threatening to make her sandwich next week. The back is ready in Jean's very own and totally fabulous way, which is becoming quite the trend in my very own quilt shop... isn't it wonderful to inspire others!
