Stitching News

Rose says she has been "Free-Wheeling"... after our workshop on Free-Motion quilting she has the bug and she's decided that It IS fun to do... you have to practice through play... but we knew that really. This quilt was made with Half Square Triangles (HST's) Two Charm Packs with the addition of Moda Bella Solid fabric for the background... it's the clever placement of the light and dark fabrics that gives the great design and Rose's quilting sets it all off
Toot toot toot Rose, your quilt is fabulous and finished!
Princess Jackie's quilt is looking extremely cute. When she held it up, the" Oooh's" and "Awww's" must have been heard over many miles, I'm sure... Made with a wonderfully cute pattern from Oz... it's from here (though I find the website a little tricky, others have succeeded) Of course Jackie's our 1st prize winning applique quilter, so her fabric choices and stitching are what makes it  absolutely fabulous.
Pam is making a Sun Bonnet Sue quilt... how cute is she? This Sue is on a board a ship and must be having a marvelous time with all that sunshine and luscious, blue sea.. I'm thinking... it must be a 'furrin' cruise... The clue?... It's not grey enough for a UK holiday! ha ha ha
