Both ladies are going to make a hand pieced project but have said that they would also like to machine piece a project.
Here Teresa (front) and Suzete (middle) have already made their templates and are marking the sewing lines onto their fabrics.
Amalia was learning a tough lesson.... she had unknowingly cut two pieces only 1/2" too short and it had thrown the pattern out completely. She spent the afternoon correcting the mistake and went home with less work done than when she arrived. I had promised that this table runner was a very 'quick' project too.....

I came home with a lovely gift from Paula, a pile of co-ordinating fat quarters, and a challange to see what I make with them... so , guess what I did yesterday???
