Fanfare For Finished Quilts

First toot toot toot goes to My Mum Gwynneth who assures us that this rather stunning quilt was really easy to make.
There have been calls for a workshop for making the Lone Star design so we will try to arrange one for our up coming winter time table.
Toot toot toot for Kate's fabulous quilt.
The blocks were started at our workshop with Katherine Guerrier
Kate had decided to make twin quilts right from the beginning and is now an absolute Guru on the HST (Half Square Triangle) block having made millions and gazillions of them... he he he
Irene's turn, toot toot toot...
This is a great design for fabric you'd rather not cut too small.
A focus/ larger print can be framed, like Irene's with the pink framed in blue fabric and the Hour Glass blocks do that clever thing they always do.
Not quite a Toot toot here but Wendy only needed the binding to be stitched by hand, she says that's a TV job, This quilt is wonky stars made with a delicious Jelly Roll, free with a magazine subscription.
Almost a finish for Wendy's list!

The Lone Star is beautiful. Love Kate's and Wendy's and Irene's too.
