Fabulous Finishes

Giggley Gillian's Blooming Bargello is finished, toot toot toot...
What a achievement...
This Bargello design is most certainly NOT for the faint hearted...
I'm not sure Gilian knows I call it her Blooming Bargello, ha ha ha
Should you be inspired to have a go, I can warn you... there is an awful lot of un-sewing involved, and no way round it... stunning result though eh?
Gail attended the Foldy Fun workshop with Jenny Barlaston recently and must have enjoyed making her project because, as you can clearly see,
she made 2... so far!
It's time to get cracking on our festive (sewing prevention season) project...

if we want them in time for 2013.
Gail made twin Hexagon projects, she came to that workshop with Jenny too.
Workshops for both of the above projects are being repeated soon.

Information can be found on the Workshops tab at the top of my blog.
Wendy finished her fabulous scrappy quilt, toot toot toot... she says it was inspired by my very own Trip Down Memory Lane quilt...TOP...
not even sandwiched yet!
Some of the small squares making up Wendy's centres were shop samples sent out by post... you used to be able to buy tiny packets with fabric swatches... do you remember that?
This quilt has been quilted on Wendy's frame... free motion, it's quite lovely and I am sure it will be Show and tell at SPQ tonight...

so you could have a closer look.
My Wife Beth finished her Advent wall hanging... inspired by one she saw one day whilst flicking around on the Internet... she designed it all by her very own self and now needs to make another...
2 kids need two Advent Calendars!
Toot toot toot, Gail finished her quilt too. If she hadn't been making it for a much loved Grandson, this quilt might well have been filed in Gail's round container...
great that she persevered 'cause it turned out to be fabulous!

Great finishes and that Bargello is something else.
