Stitching News

Barbie proudly held up a beautiful half quilt... that's an almost finished quilt top! We all agreed that the partnership between blue and white is timeless... Barbie has lots more blocks to make and is likely to get them made up this week now that she's seen the first half come together.

Just over half a stunning quilt for Dotty Maureen... two thirds of a quilt in fact. This one though, is Quilt-As-You-Go. I think you will agree about it being an amazing quilt. Reverse appliqué with a cocktail of machine and hand stitching...
Blue and white again but very different shades...absolutely lovely.

I'm not sure what portion of a quilt this is... Jenny Barlaston hasn't decided herself yet... Indigo Blues and delicious creams... Each Flying Goose is hand stitched the traditional way... there are many ways to make flying goose blocks... Jenny had started to make more of the Goose blocks...
We will have to stay in suspense about the size of this beauty.

Joan The Shop has started quilting her blocks... no prizes for guessing the size Joan's quilt will finish at... lets just hope it's huge and not enor-mouse! I'm thinking that I, my very own self, have not yet recovered from that story... it just keeps popping up! ha ha ha
