Which can only mean one thing... there's a meeting of the Staffordshire Patchworkers and Quilters this evening. It's Members Evening with a theme of Stars & Stripes, no-one knows what's going to happen... it will be a surprise, exciting eh!
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served from 6:45pm... I'm in the kitchen this month with another lady, what a treat! Every month 2 people are called upon to volunteer to take a turn in the kitchen, it's a very easy job that's never easily filled... seems no-one likes making tea or coffee nor arranging biscuits on pretty plates but I am doing my bit... an apron must surely be required!
Obviously there will be chattering and catching up too... with a room full of crafty people that's always bound to happen and there'll be Show And Tell... my favourite bit! There are always fabulous prizes for the raffle should you wish to purchase a strip or two... which is the fashion, at only £1.00 for 5 tickets that's very tempting eh? The trader this month, as far as I know, is Quilters Trading Post.

Oh.. while I have your attention... do I? The SPQ meetings don't happen in August so the next one will be in September.
