Stitching News, With Tooting

Jane Again finished stitching down the binding at home so we had the treat of 'Tooting for a finish' first thing of the day. We love to see finished quilts, Jane even took a picture to show us what the quilt looks like in 'it's place' at home. She's making a Mat & Ruler bag now, following the tutorial which you can find on a tab at the top of this blog
While the trumpets are out... here's PM Pams finished play mat, toot-ety toot. I checked on the gifting details, it's for the baby of a Vet and Farmer couple, fabulous fabrics with the cutest sheep and the backing is covered in cows grazing in luscious green grass. I hope you have noticed Pam's quilting?
Cynthia's quilt is growing by the minute, as you can see she added a beautiful inner border of bright, turquoise-y blue that is making all the other colours pop. The outer border is cut ready and just has to be stitched on... a large backing will be the next job.
One container of threads...
PM Pam is working on her Snowman Collector  appliqué blocks so she needs lots of different colours of thread... it's much easier to bring them all along... just in case. Doesn't it make for a great picture!
It makes for a great advert too. I sell the full range of King Tut colours, Superior Rainbow threads, all variegated YLI colours, Presencia in all sizes and a good range of the Metler threads which will soon be increased as the man is coming to see me this week.
