Good Grief, November! So many beautiful colours surrounding us as the nights draw in. I mean in nature, of course. As a quilter, my life is full of colour, permanently!
My November calendar quilt is out.
From the book Art to Heart - Count On It
Di made these Halloween gifting pots for two favourite little humans. They will match the Halloween cushions she recently finished. I'm a bit behind with posting pictures, these were finished in good time for gifting, with the cushions. Toot toot toot Di, fabulous and finished.
Clare made this quilt top with a Layer Cake that had been gifted to her. She was going to quilt it all by her very own self until, after adding borders, she noticed how big it was and changed her mind.
Jo came to make her sandwich on a Friday. Apparently it's been made with left overs, and don't they look lovely. Jo will quilt this herself, simple diagonal lines. Sometimes that's just what a quilt needs.
What can I make with this panel? I'm asked that a lot. This started as an alphabet panel. Each letter block only measures 4 inches so it would have been way to small left as it was. Looks fabulous now don't you think and it's going to be big enough with the borders stitched on.
Josie has made this cushion panel before but she gifted it. This one she will keep. Quilting around all the applique was just the ticket. It's a design from an Art To Heart book.
Jan's table runner made with a Charm Pack from Moda. It's all pieced, taking care with counting to 5! Then it's sewn to the backing and wadding and turned through then quilted. Easy, if a little fiddly. Toot toot toot Jan, a fabulous & finished table topper
Bev parked her huge Tilda quilt so she could have a little break from the colours. I think she just saw everyone making smaller projects and wanted to play too. So she dug out a festive panel that had been purchased years ago and now sits happily quilting it, every tiny detail!
