Uttoxeter Quilt Class

Jenny worked on her hour glass blocks, I think there are 18 of them to add to the 18 Chunky Churndash blocks, which are also done... a little bit of trimming to tidy up the threads and then it's time to join them all up, 'row-ly'... next week.
Lizzie is back from her travels and has just about recovered from the jet lag! She started to make the 9 blocks she needs for a sofa throw, each block will be different and will be made in blues and whites, great classic combination.
Giggly Gillian used the lovely blanket stitch for her applique. She's making two of these trees as Christmas gifts. Today, for the first time... she threaded her needle using the threader thing!!! wooohooo, ha ha ha.
AJ (Angela that's not me) had a pack of charm squares to play with. Half square triangles can make many different designs. This is the quilt so far, AJ is working on the border blocks now, this is going to look lovely and, even though it looks small here, it could be a double bed quilt in the very near future, it all depends on a little fabric hunting, he he he.

We will meet again in Uttoxeter, next Tuesday 10th August 10am - 3pm and there will be 2 spare tables!
