Caverswall Quilt Cave

Chris The Foot made a sandwich!!! Not normally something I would shout about but Chris has been threatening to make one for about 3 weeks, he he... last week, right at the last minute, she decided to piece a fabulous backing, it does look great though so it was worth the wait.
Hilary arrived all fired up to finish quilting her Bed Scarf, and she succeeded... not only that but she got all the binding stitched on and beautifully joined together (tutorial on right side bar) so... there's just loads of hand stitching to be done. The label is ready too so, there could be a gifting this weekend!

Irene had said that she wasn't a fan of the Charm Packs we can buy these days... but she purchased one anyway. She's very much enjoyed piecing this quilt top with very little cutting to do. All the colourful blocks were from the Trade Winds Charm Pack by Moda, 42 pre-cut 5" squares. Doesn't it look good with the off-set blocks... like a most beautiful wall of tiles.
*if you're getting a big grey line through this picture, I apologise... my computer is on it's last legs, stubbon old thing!*

Marisabel's Stack-n-Whack Kaleidoscope quilt is nearing the finish line. All the sashing is on, the first border has been stitched in place too... a little pause now as we are going to audition two more border strips at My Very Own Quilt Shop next week... we do have a plan but we want to see it laid out before we cut the fabric...
Dotty Maureen looks like she's back to making a different quilt every week... ha ha ha, OK... Two weeks as she started this one last week! This quilt has been specially requested by a little girl who wanted a Witch quilt. Dotty loves to make quilts for kiddies, especially if she can play with spooky fabric!
Jean Bean finished her rather stunning Mat & Ruler bag a few meetings ago but I keep forgetting to get a picture to show you... it's Free-motion quilted with fabulous designs.. which was the main purpose of us making the Mat & Ruler bags in the first place, they make great practice pieces. Jean is now on a mission to perfectly piece patchwork blocks... this is her first and it turned out practically perfect!
Gilly was waving her arms in the air to me so I popped on over to her table to see what she was so excited about... Yeeee-ha... She had completed one whole block!!! The very first one... as you can see, she only has 89 to go... but they all only need one more strip each.
