Stitching News, With Advertising

Polish your trumpets and give a very loud tooting fanfare.
Joan The Shop's Poppy quilt is not only finished and fabulous, it has a hanging sleeve and is on display in my very own classroom for all to enjoy. It's beautiful and bright and, so far, has caught everyone's eye! Wonderful work Joan!
Also finished, and quite fabulous, is this lovely bag made by Kate's Lynda.
The floral fabric was a snip at £5.00 per metre from my recent fabric sale. Lynda continues to make more bags and lots of her Christmas gifting list will be fulfilled with them... this smart lady is getting ahead!
The quilt in the background there is one made by My Mum Gwynneth using the very lovely Littlest from Art Gallery fabrics  and is for sale. We don't sell too many quilts as I get very attached to them, Ha!
Joan The Shop finished all of her Snowman Collector blocks and we were able to start joining them together, Isn't it FABULOUS!!! Joan decided to use Moda Bella Solids for all those little joining squares and they proved to be a perfect choice... such a happy and fun project. The patterns for each block are available in My very own quilt shop or from here
Morning Judith has been busy at home...
Here's another border idea for the Skeleton panel. Judith used
lovely, bright fabrics from the sale trolleys to give this quilt a wow, and a wow it has!
There are guitars in there too, perfect for a young rocker... It's almost sandwich time for Judith.
Josie, my little rebel quilter, is much improving her patchwork skills... it's amazing how much easier, and therefore more accurate, your cutting can get using a good quality rotary cutter with a lovely, fresh, sharp blade! You ask Josie!! Both of these lovely blocks will be made into cushions for gifting.
Michelle of Milly Moo Designs came to play. She has been commissioned to make a beautiful 28 inch cushion, huuuuge! ... I wonder whether it will need a zip? I have cushion zips available in my little quilt shop... 20 inches long... they are expensive though at £0.25 each... yes 25 pence each! wow...
Brenda Barbara finished her lovely blocks (link to free pattern here) and stitched them together for her bed runner/bed scarf. Its lovely, fresh and bright. Brenda had added her first border by the end of the day too, so she was extremely productive, she didn't have to do Sheila's work like last week! teehee
