Stitching News

Fran had used a deliscious Charm pack to make some lovely cushions to gift... she had a few Charms squares left over and decided to make an extra cushion... it took a while to find a block that would use 5", without any waste at all... good old Churnndash.... isn't it a lovely block!! This busy fellow is very much My Very Own Cup-O-Tea
Rose is using one of the Jelly Roll books to make a Bargello Beauty... she isn't using a Jelly Roll though, she chose a most stunning mix of fabrics and cut them into 2 1/2" strips, it's exactly the same as using a Jelly Roll but with much more colour control.

This Advent Calendar belongs to our Jean Bean... she spent the whole day helping out in My Very Own Patchwork and Quilting Shop, and stitching on buttons... it's a very time consuming job but well worth doing, after seeing these projects coming to life, I think quite a few ladies will be increasing their button collections... buttons are such fabulous additions to quilts!!!!
Princess Jackie finished quilting this lovely quilt, it's another example of the photo not showing you how lovely it actually is, laid on the cutting table in My Very Own Shop shop, I'll get a great Toot Toot Toot picture for you next time.... it's going to have a cream binding added, not wanting to add any more colour to this stunning lap quilt.
