Stitching News

Gail finished her beautiful Batik Bargello quilt top. It's made with two and a half inch strips... not a Jelly Roll though, Gail carefully chose all of the fabrics. The idea was to match the colours in her lounge... now all she needs is a new carpet!! ha ha ha
Princess Jackie purchased these fabrics last Tuesday (from my very own quilt shop)... I kid you not! The quilt needs to be donated for auction next week so Jackie used top gear to get this fabulous top ready to be sandwiched before class this week. A few hours of quilting is all that's needed now... and the binding of course!
Jolly Jo came to play. She had the beginnings of this Square Dance Wreath all screwed up in her bag as she had forgotten how to continue with it... a little expert advice soon got her sorted out and by the end of the day she was quilting it.
Giggly Gillian purchased this kit at the NEC Festival of Quilts in August. The instructions were not quite right so we had to fudge a bit to get the borders sorted out. Here Gillian is being a star using her appliqué pressing sheet so as not to gunk up the iron or the board... I love it when people take care with my equipment!!!
