Caverswall Quilt Cave

Wooohooo, Joan the Shop has her Daizie quilt centre done! Joan's going to add a thin inner border using lovely bright yellow Moda Dot fabric then more and more daizies...
Helen finished her commission quilt so she is able to get back to her black and white quilt... she finished the top so next time she can quilt it... unless she finishes it at home...
Chris has been busy making the Quick Table Toppers, these projects are so quick to make... unbeleivabubbly quick... and they make fabulous gifts, all year round.
Diane quilted one side of her big cushion and started to make the other side, which will be the same design but her fabrics will be in a different order.
Annie, yet again, has done loads of homework... a split four patch design, doesn't it look great?! She has a red and cream one all ready to slice up too... such a simple pattern, very effective.
Foxy Margaret added sashing to her cat blocks, taking great care to line up all the rows after a few top tips from yours truly.
Lacey Ann saw a wonderful floor tile design, took pictures, bought the fabric and it's her next project... after studying a block book for a while she has it sorted... well, I guess we will see just how sorted next week... but she's very clever.
Dotty Maureen has quilted all around each individual bug, with great care using a Bernina baby (440 QE), the stitching is so accurate that you can hardly see it's there.
then she added bugs as free motion quilting on the stripy bits... good eh. There was everything from a ladybird to a praying mantis, spiders and snails...
Arty Beryl is working on a rather beautiful scrap quilt, crazy pieced and embellished with her fancy stitches, the silky fabrics are quite lovely.
Foxy Margaret is also working on a large Railfence quilt for a very special friend. She will be working on it at home and, hopefully, we can add borders next time.
Gilly, as you must have noticed in previous posts, is fussy cutting her pieces,, doesn't it look funny, anyone walking into the room at this point would have thought we had all lost the plot! ha ha ha
Chris took the plunge and started her free motion quilting, with a Bernina Stitch Regulator which she really likes. She quilted round all the brightly coloured cats and was very happy with the results... she did good.

So, sorry this post is late, you know why so I will leave it at that and start uploading the pics from today's fabulous fun stitchy day! The photos are small but you can click on them if you want to see every detail.
