We are again into another month, had you noticed?... Which means that there's another meeting of the Staffordshire Patchworkers & Quilters... Thursday 7th, next week.
There's still time to make one.. or more, of the Red, White & Blue 12" blocks, of course they should measure 12 1/2" when you hand them over... for seam allowances... you knew that though eh.
It seems that at the last meeting so many people had forgotten to take their blocks that they decided to collect them again this one last time. Have you made yours?
Come along for a drink (with optional biscuit...) and a chat from 7pm to 7:30pm, followed by the speaker, who will be Anthea Linacre. She's going to talk about 'Gorgeous Textile Gifts'. She personalises each present and in her talk she will show a display of her gift enhancements.
p.s. I have finished quilting the Portuguese Tiles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! making the binding tonight ready for stitching tomorrow at the Warwickshire Area Day.... with Effie Galletly, remember, I told you about it?

All my blocks went to Ann a while ago (she says smugly!). Have a great time at the Area Day. I loved Effie's exhibition at FOQ.
