Caverswall Quilt Cave

Brenda/Barbara has finished the top of her Christmas Advent Calendar, the snowmen are all standing to attention this time so she's ready to start quilting it.... once she finds which backing fabric to use that is.

My Mum (Gwynneth) wanted a table topper for a round table. She didn't have a pattern so she played about and 'invented' this.. fab isn't it? She's very proud of it you know.

Dotty Maureen continued to work on a commissioned quilt. She used an Aurora baby as she loves to do free motion with the BSR (Bernina Stitch Regulator) she did some very intricate quilting round the bugs.

Gilly's block centres are done so she spent the day cutting squares for the Saw Tooth borders of each one... it's a good job that she likes fussy cutting...

Helen finished free motion quilting her commissioned quilt and was able to make the binding... we just ran out of time for her to stitch it all on, she will finish it at home as it is to be delivered on Thursday next week... so we might never get to see it again.

There aren't many photos to share this time, we were just too busy cutting, stitching, chatting, making important decisions and giggling, as usual....
We meet again in Caverswall Village Hall on Wednesday 13th October, 10am - 3pm

Kettle Corner will be ready and waiting for you should you like to visit and, of course, "Table Top Shop" will be open all day for your patchwork & quilting needs... actually, the 4 rolls wadding/batting are not on a table because they are too darn big, they stand to attention at the side, he he he
