Uttoxeter Quilt Class

Jenni, after piecing together several small bits of wadding... made her sandwich. No point in wasting wadding/batting left overs when you have a lovely zig-zag with which to join them together... besides, who will know when your quilt is on the wall? She then moved on to the quilting and did a great job of following the tree branches.
Giggly Gillian has completed all 36 Churndash blocks, actually she has 37! She had been shopping to find a perfect sashing fabric, and find it, she did... the one she chose is perfect. There will be corner stones too... I will show you next time... looking really good!
As it was raining, Messy Maureen came for the day, if it's good weather she stays away to enjoy it. So, she made a sandwich and quilted her wall hanging, with very pooophy poly wadding to make a really pooophy quilt.
We've been meeting in Uttoxeter for exactly one year now and all the ladies remain enthusiastic and addicted.. perfect eh! We meet again next Tuesday, 12 October, 10am - 3pm.
