Giggly Gillian made a sandwich with one of the four quarters of her huge quilt. She's going to quilt all four and then we will join them together and add borders.
AJ (Angela that's not me) also wanted to try the 'quilt-as-you-go' method so she made 6 practice blocks, here she's quilting them. She did join them together and has decided that she will also quilt four quarters instead of individual blocks, it is a little fiddly though.
Gillian almost completed quilting one quarter, each one is approximately 38" square so they are quite easy to manage. She'll probably bring them all in completed next week... this quilt needs to be finished for December.
Messy Maureen was working on an advent calendar. These are the little pockets... of course there are twenty four of them.We meet again next Tuesday 19th October, 10am - 3pm.
