Stitching News

Princess Jackie sandwiched her fabulous Feathered Star quilt.
She hasn't quite made her mind up about what this project will be when it's finished... no rush there, if Jackie decides to make it larger we can do it with the apartment method!
Gail finished quilting the centre of her Jacob's Ladder quilt. She followed the lines of the patchwork and it made the pattern pop beautifully. A little Stitching-In-The-Ditch was called for on the borders but we find that the very, popular Ditch Hopping, does just as well... he he he
Shirley Lerly recently finished her stunning and quite large Stack-n-Whack Kaleidoscope quilt. She's decided to make a few smaller projects next... The Dresden Plate cushions have been ever so popular with everyone, including Lerly! She chose lovely bright and happy colours.
Just Jan has a tiny little picture of a Jelly Roll quilt to refer to for her current project. First she chose her fabrics, then she sliced them up into two and a half inch strips... just like a Jelly Roll! She sketched a few blocks onto squared paper and then proceeded to make them up... looking good eh!
Jean Bean finished her Batik Beauty quilt just in time for the quilt show at Uttoxeter recently... now she decided to pull her Stargazy Daizies out from storage... these were started at a workshop last year and it's lovely to see them being made again.
