My Mum Gwynneth finished this lovely, but tricky, quilt top. We found a perfect backing fabric so she's ready to sandwich it. I am guessing but... diagonal straight lines of shadow quilting is all this pattern needs. Beautiful thread and an walking foot... just the way Mum likes it!
Brenda Barbara is making two of these twister heart cushions. They are fiddly but fun to make and every one looks fabulous
Josie's little Jack Russell looks great now that he has eyes! Josie worked on her border blocks, each square has an applique heart that she was going to prepare at home... and she did! Unfortunately, Josie had stuck all of her sticky stuff to the right side of her fabric, which was the wrong side!!! She had to start over again... Don't tell me that you've never done that!
Caron took delivery of her very own, brand new, Janome sewing machine and happily played with it's features and fancy stitches. This panel is part of a tote bag that Caron will use to bring her bits and bobs to quilting class when it's finished.
Jeanette usually does her patchwork by hand but, after watching all the projects being made with sewing machines, she decided to bring hers along and have a go for her very own self. She made several of these blocks by end of class.
Michelle My Belle has started to join her strips together and she's delighted with the way it's looking. The illusion of ribbons crossing through the diagonals is very clever, those Half Square Triangles (HST's) are clever little things indeed!
