Quilty Quarters

I didn't actually do any more of the quilting... ooooops, my Quilty Quarters is a very distracting place, he he he. So, for all those who wanted to know (both of you, he he he) this is the thread I'm using to quilt with. So far, this purple-y variegated, though not always the same brand , has been the most useful colour, it seems to co-ordinate with lots of my projects... lovely eh! I was 'investigating' stuff in T'internet yesterday morning and found myself directed here. When I got to my Bernina Baby to start quilting the Bento Box... I decided to just have a little go at this pattern... with some hand dyes.. wooohooo.... Off came the lovely thread, replaced with neutral, a quick flip of a lever and the darning foot was replaced with the #37 (1/4") foot.... see how easy it is to get distracted? These blocks measure 10 1/2" each.

I'm off to Uttoxeter now, lets hope I remember to get lots of pictures to show you eh!
Tomorrow we will be at Caverswall Village Hall, as always, Kettle Corner will be open for visitors. Both meetings are 10am - 3pm... if we remember to look at the clock!

Love the thread colour and the new quilt. Thanks for the link to Judy's site. I think it was from an early book of hers that I made my very first quilt. Unfortunately I no longer have it.

Wow! What bright fun colors. The dyeing is great. Did you do them. I've got some dyes and some fabrics and haven't tried my hand at them yet...still on my to do list.
